Reverend Canon Kath Rogers Kath has been at the church since February 2012 and is passionate about helping people know how much Jesus loves them and how he longs for us to respond to his love. She is committed to making the church a place for all ages to worship God and enjoy friendship with other people who are on a journey with God. She also works in Forefield Lane schools which involves taking assemblies and school visits, is a governor for the Infants School and does work with Ventures preschool and wrap around care as Chair of Trustees of the charity. Ministry to local nursing homes and Jospice also occupies much of Kath's time. Kath and her family live in Thornton in the Rectory near the Nags Head.
David Winsland (Vulnerable Adults Coordinator) David recently retired as Churchwarden after eleven year sof service. David is a retired Primary School Headteacher. He is married to Lynne and they have three grown up sons and five grandchildren. David and Lynne are very active in the work of Lion's Club International both locally and in the North West. David was formerly an active sportsman but now enjoys his sport as a watcher, especially rugby.
Gordon Iverson (Churchwarden)
Gordon has lived locally all his life and worked until his retirement in the electrical industry. Married to Gordon is married to Ann and has 2 children and 3 grand children. He played football for Marine and several other clubs and his hobbies now are bowls and snooker. Gordon was also a member of Crsby and District Lions Club and became church wardnen in 2018, being a worshipper at All Saints with St Frideswyde for over 40 years.
Alan Mears (Health & Safety Coordinator) Alan has lived in Crosby and worshipped at All Saints for over sixty years. Married with two grown-up children and now retired, Alan retired as PCC Secretary to take up the reins of the exciting Building Project which saw significant improvement to the church, link area and hall. Alan is now the Health & Safety Co-ordinator as well as company secretary to our childcare charity. With half a working life in civil engineering and half in personnel management, Alan takes a special interest in all buildings and staff matters. In his 'spare' time he enjoys gardening and genealogy and leads on the maintenance of a residential centre near Southport belonging to Girlguiding Sefton.
Andrew Thompson-Smith (Reader & Treasurer) Andrew is married to Penny and they have two children and four grandchildren. By profession he is an architect but was able to take early retirement in 2006 and now works only part time. He is a keen sailor and qualified as a Yachtmaster in 1997 and is Chairman of the local branch of the RNLI. He loves folk music and is guitarist and lead singer of local folk band Time Ashore. Andrew had been a member of St Frideswyde's church for many years prior to the merger with All Saints in December 2011. He was licensed as a lay minister (Reader) in 2007 and now preaches and leads services about once a month.
Audrey Bruford (Reader) Audrey lives locally in Crosby and works full-time as a Manager at Aintree Hospital. She is currently in her first year as a Reader in training. Audrey is involved in children's ministry at ASSF. She is married with two daughters and likes to read in her 'spare time'!!!
Diane Hughes (Hall Secretary, Verger & Electoral Roll Officer) Diane is married, has two grown up children and lives in Crosby where she has worshipped at All Saints with St Frideswydes for a number of years. Diane is the verger for weddings and funerals and also the church hall secretary responsible for hiring the hall out for local community use. She has also been involved with 30th Crosby Beaver Scout Group, based in the scout hut behind the church, as a group sectional assistant for many years. Diane enjoys card making and spending time with her grandchildren and is known to enjoy a bowl of trifle at many of the enjoyable social events the church holds throughout the year.
Geoff Dunn (Parish Office Administrator)
Geoff lives locally in Moor Lane and has worked at ASSF since November 2012. Geoff attended Christchurch in Moreton when living on the Wirral but now worships occasionally at ASSF but mostly in catholic churches with his partner Sharon (who is the HR Director for the Diocese of Liverpool & Liverpool Cathedral). Geoff retired as PCC Secretary after several years of service. Geoff has two grown up children, Jancis lives and works near York and Robert lives in Oswestry and works for the Honey Pot charity. Geoff is a keen golfer, playing at Wallasey Golf Club and his other passion is Everton FC where, for his sins, he is a season ticket holder.
Gill Delves-Whites (CHV Advice and Money Management Coordinator) Gill lives locally and worships at ASSF where she is an active member of the music group, a sidesperson and reader of bible passages in services. Gill is CHV Advice and Money Management Coordinator and prepares the team of volunteers to work in the church Advice Centre, ensuring that staff are up to date in their training and referring clients to Citizens Advice or other support networks. The Advice Centre assists many people and their families with a wide range of issues.
Gill is taking a law degree at LJMU after being involved in education fro many years. She is married to Jim and enjoys playing league and social tennis at Campion LTC. Gill also enjoys walking in the Lakes and the theatre.
Ann Iverson (Churchwarden and Community Hub Coordinator)
Ann has lived locally all her life abd was educated at Waterloo Park Girls' Grammar School. She worked in insurance until she left work to have her children and once they were settled at school, Ann went to work part-time in Sainsbury's. Since retiring, she has enjoyed co-ordinating the running of the Community Hub and is now church warden alongside her husband Gordon.
Pat Howard (Children's Safeguarding Coordinator)
Pat lives locally having returned to Liverpool a couple of years ago after 30 years in Surrey. She worships at ASSF where she assists with the children's work in ABC and Sunday Club and is also a barista in the HUB. As part of a team from' In Another Place' Pat regularly goes into local schools to conduct assemblies and she is an active member of a couple of local drama groups.
